This year, for the first time, we organized Kids Day at our companies in Belgrade, Bucharest, and Sofia.  This was a good start to the summer vacation. The kids of our colleagues gathered at our offices to see where their parents work, spend this day together and hear some of the most interesting stories from the history of Nike. We showed to kids how the legendary waffle sole was made, what the first Nike store looked like, explained how the first Air Jordan sneakers were created and engaged them in various games.

“Some of them were so passionate about Nike’s history! They already knew some stories and actively participated in discussions, sharing information with the rest of the group”, said Claudia Duluman, HR Specialist in Romania.

Many of the kids showed their artistic side by expressing themselves through drawing and colouring Nike sneakers.
