Belgrade hosted the global basketball spectacle The One this weekend – Jordan Brand’s prestigious one-on-one basketball tournament. Held at the Crvena zvezda Basketball Club courts at Kalemegdan, the event brought together some of Serbia’s most promising young talents and basketball fans, with a special appearance by one of the world’s top basketball players, Luka Dončić.

Sixteen girls and sixteen boys aged 15 to 18 competed for the opportunity to represent Serbia in London, where they will continue their journey toward earning the title of The One and the chance to become official Jordan Brand ambassadors.

The Belgrade tournament was attended by Luka Dončić of the Los Angeles Lakers, the first European athlete to have his own signature line within Jordan Brand. Young competitors also received support from NBA players Nikola Jović of the Miami Heat and Tristan Vukčević of the Washington Wizards.

Milan Pejin claimed the title in the boys’ competition, while Jovana Maksimović emerged victorious in the girls’ division. However, the biggest surprise came after the winners were announced. Thanks to the outstanding level of competition and exceptional performances throughout the tournament, the runners-up in both categories also earned a place in the London Finals. As a result, four Serbian players will represent their country on the international stage.

Throughout the tournament, participants competed in Jordan apparel, including the latest Jordan Luka 5 basketball shoes, while Jordan Global provided technical and organizational support for the event.

Dončić brought additional motivation and excitement to the tournament, giving young athletes the opportunity to meet their idol in person and experience the atmosphere of the highest level of international basketball.

The atmosphere ahead of the finals was further elevated by performances from 2Soma, Corona, Rimski, and Anary, while popular influencers Choda and Miksa hosted the event throughout the day.

The One tournament is part of Jordan Brand’s global initiative dedicated to discovering and supporting the next generation of basketball talent, giving young players the opportunity to prove themselves in basketball’s most demanding format—one-on-one competition.
